Boo!

About: Pro(2.6) and Lite(2.7) My 8G touch(os3.1.3) moves both version. But, touch 64G(os5.0.1) moves only Lite version. What happened?

Doesnt work! -> It works now.

Thank you for updating for iOS5. But It should have been quicker. App itself is quite usefull. I use it everyday. Excelent! Previous comment: After updating my OS to iOS5, my isaveWeb doesnt work indicating an error message like "cant find server". I have rewritten the bookmark by myself. It seems all right now. "http://" was duplicated probably after the update of safari. I am waiting for version up of iSaveWeb.

It is good but it can and should be much better!!!

Let me say firts that this app is better from Instapaper: it is much clearer from instapaper and much more frendly-user. I also like the idea to save the page identically to the original (images and other stuff). However I dont see a reason to buy the pro version. What you pay for is only the "multiple pages (3 levels of depth)" and honestly saying it is useless. I waited couple hours to download the newsweek.pl and many other sites on the 3-rd depth. So whats the point of that? In the meantime the news you download are not so fresh anymore! But still if you waste a time to download it all it would take much much more time when you just read some of the articles you like to when you have the internet connection. And even in the level of 1st depth it is still very long. And whats the point of waiting that long? It could work good if they just give option to choose in multiple page like "text only" - just to save raw text with links to other raw text. It would save much more time because one of the reason why it takes that long is because it has to download and save ALL the images and picters you dont really need. All that works great with just the single page because it takes like 10-15 sec to save the page with all the pictures. And thats what I am talking about! The thing that I miss the most is to have automated updates of the pages you choose. Each time you want to see a new page you have to go to safari and then add with the bookmark to save page in isave web! Why that much? Why not to have links you read every day in isave web? Lets say you walk in area you have internet. Then the isave web updates the page you have in your bookmark automatically! Like the home page of newsweek.pl that is different everyday. Thats the second thing I miss. It doesnt work when it is closed. It has to be open to download sites... Overall it is handy application but only in free version!

good idea, bad application

it doesnt cache correctly all the pages/images from a site, and it doesnt return any error this is not what i espect from a PRO application

Dont buy it!!

The application keeps closing itself when doing the caching and it never finishes. It a shame I have wasted 4€ for this supposedly "pro" version.

Major ripoff

The lite version worked fine but the Pro version is a big waste of money. I was excited about the idea of having it automatically save multiple pages but the implementation seems poor at best. I pointed it at a DPReview camera review with clear html based links to all the other pages in the review (all linked directly from the first page) and it failed at saving any of the other pages of the review. It did save some other linked pages, none of which I cared about. I looked at the HTML source for the page and theres no excuse for why the application didnt save the links to the other review pages. Minor nitpick, the author couldnt even bother to spell "Multiple" correctly (its spelled "Miltiple"). And on the same page theres a "Number of levels" selector, but you cant move it at all (its fixed on 1). So at $5 this app is a total rip off and Id encourage you to stay away until the author makes some major improvements.

this small app does a lot for me

Not sure about others, but this small app does a lot for me - captures my company site, 3 levels are sufficient, so it can read it anywhere.

Awesome

Worked, saved every page I asked

i like it!

this app did what i wanted it to, and did it nicely. would be nice if i could look through the pages by either a page preview icon or something.

Executes website Saves Nicely

This app does exactly what I needed. I have been using it for two years and have never been disappointed. It would be nice to have a desktop version and a common database of saved websites. It would also be nice if all the same websites were searchable. Otherwise this app does the job.

Legacy app.

Bought this a few years ago. Absolutely the best then. Pages exported/emailed in a zip file were a must have. The errors and misses have been increasing. I dont think the app has been keeping up with developments in HTML page language. I checked just now and the app was last updated in 2011. Things will only get worse as HTML continues to evolve.

Interface is ruined

I’ve been using iSaveWeb Pro for years. It was great for storing bus schedules for my commute. That means I’ve been using it daily. It was easy to navigate with one hand to the pages I needed. Unfortunately, the latest update has broken the interface. There is no option to see a list of your saved websites. Only a cumbersome icon view. This ensures that you can only see a limited number of your saved pages without having to scroll. So, unless I can find a way to download and install a previous version, I’ll be hunting up another app to view my saved webpages. This is a horrendous version of a previously elegant app. I’m so very disappointed.

I didn’t know this was possible

Amazing app. I downloaded an entire wiki for offline reading in preparation for a long plane ride. The wiki had nearly 2,000 interlinking webpages. I couldn’t believe how effective this app was! Fast download (mostly text) exceeded expectations. Safari can’t even remember a single webpage that is already open! Perfect for airplane or subway. Will be using again. Especially useful for downloading wiki sites in their entirety.

Love it

Does a better job downloading the web than most desktop downloaders

Isaveweb pro

Needs export or save to files in ios11. I gave it a 4 because it can save to app IN IOS10 but open in app, is lacking in ios11.

Saving whole site might take a while

Saving 3 levels deep might take a while...
